How Did Equip Studios Start?

During one of our regular runs together, Molly shared her frustration about how hard it was to find a fitness space that offered both quality training and genuine community. None of the options reflected what we had built together through the years: encouragement, accountability, and shared strength. That conversation sparked something. As we ran, we talked about how fitness and running had shaped each of us, making us stronger as wives, moms, and professionals. We realized the rare gift we had found in our sisterhood—and how deeply others needed that same kind of support.

Molly was the first to say it out loud: she wanted to start a studio designed for women—a place where movement is about more than fitness or aesthetics. A space centered on community—a collective of women building strength side by side, the kind of strength that serves our lives, our families, our faith, and our calling. Once Sarah heard this vision, she knew she wanted to be all in. She saw the deep need and the incredible value in a space like that and wanted to be apart of it. It was an answer to prayer after finishing a season of overwhelming but fulfilling work as foster parents.

Our mission is grounded in supporting a sisterhood who builds strength through healthy habits. This is forged in the weight room, refined in movement, and lived out through service. We train hard, move with purpose, and use our strength to pour back into our families, friendships, and ministries. Because when we strengthen our bodies, we strengthen our lives. And when we do it together, we become unstoppable.
